Templafy, the document generation platform, today announces the release of its new Document Agents system which brings conversational and agentic AI to document generation – a major enhancement to how documents are created and to the value they bring across enterprises and more verticals.

The last-mile delivery of value

Templafy’s Document Agents technology introduces a new mid-layer in document generation that leverages document agents. These intelligent AI-powered assistants are designed to streamline the entire document generation process for end users. They reduce the need for the complex configuration previously required for automating document types and require minimal setup.

Unlike existing tools which provide basic output or draft documents for internal use only, Document Agents orchestrates structured, branded and compliant documents ready for customer delivery. It integrates with any AI model, applies guardrails, leverages RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) and compiles various document components (e.g. pricing, proposals) into a cohesive output – making it ideal for organizations that need high-quality, scalable and consistent client-facing materials.

From a user perspective, this upgrade comes with a brand-new experience in the form of a “conversational” UI that makes it easier for the user to create documents and document content based on their requirements. Output formats are designed for Microsoft Office and so are designed with users in mind.
