How to unlock the power of AI in 2024 (without the risk)
Templafy’s AI team–Co-founder and CMO Christian Lund, Senior Solutions Consultant Sandra Zubler, and VP, Product Oskar Konstantyner–reveal the secrets to harnessing the power of AI without sacrificing control, accuracy, or consistency.
In 2023, generative AI went mainstream, as Chat GPT became a household name and the fastest growing platform in history. But the Wild West of the AI market raised safety concerns for organizations, with the burning question: How can organizations reap the productivity gains of AI, while mitigating the risks?
2023 also saw the unveiling of Templafy’s generative AI Assistant (Beta). Ahead of the official launch later this month, our expert team gathered to discuss industry developments since our last AI webinar in May, in addition to presenting Templafy’s AI vision for 2024.
In this blog, we’ve summarized the key takeaways from our latest webinar in the series: Templafy Talks AI 2. To learn more, and to see Templafy’s AI Assistant in action, you can watch the full webinar here.

Unlock the power of AI without the risks
AI for business skyrockets from May to December
We conducted a like-for-like poll in our first and second AI webinar in relation to AI tools and their role in our listeners’ tech stacks, and the findings were significant.
The use of AI in the workplace increased from 39% to 63%, indicating the inevitable part AI will play in working culture in 2024 and beyond.
Oscar says:
“Companies need to ensure that they put the same governance rules onto AI as any other productivity tools. It’s important that AI tools don’t bypass regulation and governance simply because they are new.”
Ensuring accuracy with Gen AI is crucial
Christian says:
“What we’ve seen from generative AI is incredibly impressive – especially the potential for productivity. But we’re hearing concern from organizations around accuracy. The risk here is, can organizations rely on the information that AI is giving back to them, and is it precise enough to use in a business context?
That’s why Managed AI is the solution – organizations need ways of informing and controlling the AI to get the accuracy that is required.”
Managed AI gives control back to the company
Christian says:
“For enterprises with 100,000 employees, there could be 100,000 alternative ways to ask a prompt, and as many outputs. We want to give control back to the company, to make sure AI usage aligns with its rules, regulations, and standards. This way, they can make use of the productivity benefits of AI without the risk.”
Connecting AI to a strategic goal is a must
Christian says:
“As great as it is to introduce and leverage AI, it’s important to first understand: What are you trying to achieve? It’s not about introducing technology for the sake of technology. Once the strategic goal has been defined, the next step is to piece together which capabilities could get you closer to achieving those goals.”
Structuring AI usage is imperative
Sandra says:
“While the emergence of these new AI solutions is exciting, organizations need to keep usage under control to avoid chaos. At Templafy, we don’t just want to eliminate manual document work, we also want to avoid document anarchy. Templafy allows companies to structure and control the use of AI, in a way that makes it easy and safe for everyone.”
You can integrate AI solutions with Templafy
Oscar says:
“We don’t claim we are the best in the world to create AI – there are amazing players out there, like Microsoft, OpenAI, Google, and Gemini, and we work closely with many of these major players. At Templafy, we’re here to make sure that this technology gets enabled.
We help organizations apply technology across their organization, providing a layer of management. If a customer has their own AI, they can connect it with Templafy’s infrastructure.”
