The University of Southern Denmark’s accessibility priorities
SDU were undertaking a brand refresh in 2016, in order to ‘clean up’ their visual identity. However, all digital assets and branded document templates were stored on an intranet, which made it difficult for staff to distribute and update them from different institutes of the university. To improve communication both internally and externally, they needed a more futureproof system.
“All SDU staff, faculty and students now have access to up-to-date presentation templates and assets, whichever institute they are in.”

The Solution
Centralized accessibility across campuses
SDU’s document templates were previously only accessible through an intranet. Changing to a template management system meant that there was a centralized location where assets and templates were updated and available, across locations, centers, departments and research units.
Saving time for staff
SDU Communications department can simply direct people to open Office applications and use Templafy to access all the images and templates that he has created. This saves them from doing double-work. Templafy also integrates with the DAM system SDU use, making it easier for staff to find company-approved images for use.
Stronger brand image
SDU employees are now creating content which is increasingly on-brand, and used consistently. Staff can easily access the correct templates for consistently recording meeting minutes, for example, ensuring that the brand is strong across all communication. Teams are working in a smarter manner, and are more engaged with brand assets.
